Level 4 - "Lost Office"

"It's all empty..."

Description

Level 4 is a vast office-like space that typically has gray carpet and white walls. The carpet is soft, fluffy and smooth to walk on. The walls are a nice white color and are also very smooth. Level 4 has a nice and comforting temperate across most of the level and occasionally rain can be heard patting against the ceiling.

Almost every room in Level 4 will be completely empty, aside from maybe a counter in a random place, making this level a great place to drop any items on you that you don't need but maybe also want to come back to later.

Interestingly, stairwells exist on this level. This would usually indicate the presence of numerous floors, but here, they just appear to lead back to the exact same floor just in a different location this time. Despite this, Level 4 seems to always draw its wanderers back to places they have been before or the place they are looking for, making this level a very, very good candidate for storing non-essential items and returning later.

While most of the level is warm, cozy and inviting, there are parts of the level that should not be explored unless prepared. These parts are dark, contain no working ceiling lights and the sound of rain pattering is always present here. Although this time it's a bit louder. The dark parts of Level 4 are also, once again, typically empty. Temperatures here are not comfortable and are usually really cold. They can drop to as low as -10 degrees celsius and never any warmer than 4 degrees celsius.

Although entities are never actually documented apart from a few exceptions, Level 4 is one of the only levels to actually feature no entities at all. For the darker areas though, you will just have to find out for yourself. There may be some, but there also may not be.

Entrances

The main entrance to this level is, to nobody's surprise, through Level 3. It is a door that looks like a regular door. Not an electrical door or a prison door (link soon).

In some rare occasions, Level 4 can be accessed directly from Level 0 in the instance of the exact same entrance door from Level 3 appearing. These will always lead to the dark areas of Level 4.

Exits

The main exit is going down a long, narrow hallway where the sound of distorted classic music starts to fade in. This will lead to the main area of Level 5.
