Description

The Backrooms Hell.

The Shady Gray is a large forest with all the color drained from it. Everything is a shade of gray. Everything. Upon entering the level, you will find yourself lying on the floor inside a gray shack. The shack itself is devoid of any furnishings apart from a singular gray analog clock hung on the far wall. It should say 12pm. If not, you're already running out of time. If you haven't already realized, this level has a day and night cycle, a 12-hour day and night cycle to be exact. Day and night do not seamlessly fade here, that would be too kind for this place. The sky instantly turns to a jet black void of shadow, no warning or indication. If this happens and you hear the howls of the lost, you have to get out immediately.

Various shapes of river and lake can be spotted throughout Level A4 and it is said to be drinkable Almond Water. It is also said to turn to Liquid Pain during the desolate nightfall.

Just like The Basement, not much is known about this level as there is no strong evidence to suggest that it actually exists but is often regarded by many to be The Backrooms' Hell.
