Level 1 - "Lurking Danger...?"
"You hear a horrible creaking noise behind you..."
Basic Description
Exact descriptions of Level 1 vary a little bit between people, but the general idea is that it's similar to Level 0 in form but with a few changes and additions. The walls are white painted brick walls and the flooring is hard concrete. The level is comprised of many office-esque spaces, many even with wooden flooring, but these should probably be avoided. The entire level is dead silent apart from a few things which are discussed later on.
The "regular" office rooms are the same brick walls and concrete (some have dry carpet) flooring. These often have fire extinguishers latched onto the side of the left wall and green exit signs hanging above the ceiling, leading to another wall in the exact same room. Drawers are also often in these rooms, usually containing just almond water but sometimes have items that are usually exclusive to Level 4 and 12. A random unknown level key could also be in one of the drawers, but this is incredibly rare and it's the only known way to get level keys. Visual hallucinations of a gray figure peeking behind a corner are often seen but it is just a visual hallucination.
The office rooms tiled with wooden planks have the exact same walls and ceiling but the concrete tiles are replaced with wood. In these rooms, the drawers are still present but are chester this time and tend to contain microwavable food and flashlights. Potted plants are usually always in these rooms in a white pot and a functional microwave somewhere in the same room that doesn't seem to be connected to any outlet, although it still works. In these rooms, you will very likely hear the noises of footsteps right behind you, a creaking sound right behind you, feel something tap you on the shoulder when nothing is there, a banging sound and the sound of rain out of nowhere for roughly 4 seconds. These are all hallucinations too.
This level is home to The Hub.
